Angul, 21st August, 2024: In a significant step towards promoting climate resilient agriculture, SwitchON Foundation, in collaboration with PIUS, organized a workshop focused on Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) technologies and their integration with government schemes. Held at the PIUS Training Hall in Mahidharpur, Angul, the workshop brought together farmers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Rural Women Entrepreneurs (RWEs), and government representatives from the Departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, and OAIC.
The event was attended by Ms. Smrutismita Dash, LVAW, Department of Agriculture, Banarpal, Angul, Mr. Babula Parida, HEW, Department of Horticulture, Dhenkanal, Mr. Abinash Nayak, JE, Odisha Agro Industries Corporation (OAIC), Angul, Mr. Basant Kumar Sahu, Secretary of PIUS.
