This two-day event will take place on March 8th and 9th, 2024, in the vibrant city of Kolkata. Move For Earth is not just an event; it is a collaborative effort to create a platform that fosters collaboration and unity among various stakeholders. The gathering is designed to include leaders, government officials, non-profit representatives, investors, academia, and grassroots communities. Together, we aim to have meaningful discussions, inspire action for the climate, and create a detailed plan to reach a net-zero economy. 

Whether you’re a passionate environmentalist, a dedicated eco-warrior, or simply a responsible individual eager to make a meaningful impact, this symposium is a unique chance for different communities to come together, exchange thoughts, and actively help in the global effort to create a sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

Purpose & Approach

As climate change intensifies, it’s crucial that we all work together and act now. The Move For Earth Symposium understands this urgency. The goal is to engage in meaningful and relevant discussions to inspire climate action and sketch out a roadmap for achieving a net-zero economy. Our approach involves exploring ways to foster sustainability within communities by engaging diverse stakeholders, including governments, businesses, students, and markets, to collectively embrace and adopt sustainable practices.

Things To Do 

Participants can look forward to a dynamic and engaging experience, with a variety of activities including plenaries, workshops, competitions, exhibits, and awards. The symposium will focus on key themes such as food security, energy and environment, waste management, sustainable mobility, and sustainable business. With over 50 speakers and 1000 participants, the event promises to provide a dynamic and engaging experience.

• Food Security & Sustainable Practices: Learn about millet cultivation and sustainable farming, and participate in cooking competitions featuring millet.

• Energy and Environment: Attend workshops on solar rooftop installation, gardening, and maintenance of solar pumps.

• Waste Management: Learn effective recycling practices, including how to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste.

• Sustainable Mobility: Participate in bicycle maintenance workshops to promote sustainable transportation.

• Sustainable Business: Attend presentations on sustainable innovations, technologies, or products.
