Promoting Smart Solar Model Village
We envision a world which runs on clean energy. To accomplish such a mammoth task, we decided to take the first step towards developing a clean energy ecosystem. In association with CAF India, a model village was created in the Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. The model village provided amenities such as ICT Centres, Micro solar grid powering all the households, clean drinking water, irrigation system and street lights through renewable energy sources in Dobisa village. We had also created a group of members elected for the role of managing the amenities provided, which further made this project, self-sustaining.
