Tapasee Nandi is a committed Project Coordinator with extensive experience in promoting women’s empowerment and livelihood development. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology (2021) and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from an Open University. Her work involves collaborating with potential women entrepreneurs, sangha leaders, and didis for cluster development, establishing business linkages, and facilitating access to government schemes for seed linkage, nursery, and handloom-based livelihoods.
From 2008 to 2023, she worked on women’s empowerment initiatives at Hura Block under UNICEF and government projects. Her efforts also extended to adolescent empowerment, focusing on preventing early child marriages. Her dedication has contributed significantly to building resilient communities.
In her free time, she enjoys listening to old songs, a passion that reflects her appreciation for tradition and culture.
