Tripurari Prasad Verma is currently serving as a Project Manager for our CASC Projects, overseeing waste management and environmental education initiatives across Jharkhand. Additionally, he provides support in Asansol & Durgapur. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
In his role, Tripurari has spearheaded innovative projects, notably initiating the establishment of plastic banks in schools in Amritsar, Punjab. This initiative aims to raise awareness among children about the detrimental effects of plastic. He has also championed home and community composting efforts in Chandauli and Hardoi districts in Uttar Pradesh, as well as in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and Amritsar, Punjab. His efforts have successfully linked Self-Help Groups (SHGs) with composting activities, thereby boosting their income.
With 7 years of prior experience, Tripurari has a robust background in Open Defecation Free (ODF) and ODF+ initiatives, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs in schools, and solid and liquid waste management in both rural and urban settings.
In his leisure time, He enjoys playing with children and spending quality time with elders.
