Soumyadeep Sana serves as a Project Manager in our EEWA program, focusing on soil and water conservation and sustainable water resource management across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Maharashtra. Holding a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (2017), Soumyadeep boasts over five years of experience in the development sector and one year in engineering.
Previously, at PRASARI, Soumyadeep excelled as a Team Leader, implementing effective MGNREGA strategies in watershed management across West Bengal and Jharkhand. This involved empowering communities and creating alternative sustainable income streams. Additionally, as a lead digital content creator, Soumyadeep shared expertise on watershed management techniques.
In his current role, he collaborates with local communities, governmental agencies, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive natural resource management plans, addressing environmental, social, and economic challenges. Beyond work, Soumyadeep finds joy in cooking and listening to music, nurturing both creativity and relaxation. With a proven track record of leadership and a passion for sustainable development, Soumyadeep contributes significantly to organizational success and community empowerment.
